Waterfall House at Ōma'opio Ridge (Lot 4)

Status:
This is the amazing Waterfall House – one of four homes at Ōma'opio Ridge designed by Hunton Conrad.

Because of an unfortunate series of business difficulties, the original owners of the Waterfall House were unable to maintain their residence there.  We are in the process of making some repairs, and so the property is temporarily off the market, at least officially. Nonetheless, you are encouraged to contact Phil Christopher for details on the status of the Waterfall House.  When it returns to the market, we will offer it at $2,900,000.

Architectural Inspiration:

The inspiration for this thoroughly modern home, reminiscent of ones designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, came directly from its site. The natural stone outcropping on which it is built is incorporated into a two-story atrium that features an indoor  waterfall. A swimming pool projects out into the gulch, and its "infinity edge" appears to blend into the landscape in the distance.

Amenities Include:

Indoor/outdoor water pond, two-story enclosed entry atrium with waterfall, elevator, infinity-edged swimming pool with spa, fire-protection sprinkler system, built-in vacuum system.

Area:

  • Main level: 2,827 sq. ft., plus 795 sq. ft of covered lanai and an uncovered deck of 197 sq. ft.
  • Lower level: 1,116 sq. ft., plus 1,514 sq. ft. of pool deck.
  • Three-car garage: 630 sq. ft.
  • The atrium, with its cascading waterfall, contains a total of 965 sq. ft.
  • In addition, there are two large storage rooms under the pool, one of which might be used as a wine cellar.
